Vodafone is staging a National Sleep-in on Friday this week to support DreamLab, the Cancer research app.
Cancer will affect almost all New Zealanders in their lifetime. Through the tireless efforts of cancer researchers, and rapid advances in technology, they now have reams of data available to bring us closer to finding a cure.
The Vodafone DreamLab app uses your phone’s processing power to crunch cancer research data. The app then sends the calculations back to the Garvan Institute to help fast track cancer research, all while you sleep.
Simply put your phone on charge and activate the app at bedtime. The more people sleep with the app running, the closer we can get to finding a cure for cancer.
Anyone can use the app, and if you’re a Vodafone mobile customer you won’t be charged for mobile data used by DreamLab.
Every app download brings researchers that much closer to finding a cure for cancer so please download and support them today.
