On Saturday 13th October, Little River rocked to the sound of ‘The Preservatives’ The dance was organised to raise funds for the Bowel Cancer Foundation Trust.
Local couple Faye and Tim had been teaching Ballroom Dance lessons in Little River, the dance was a great opportunity for class participants to don their dancing shoes and air their newfound skills.
During the evening a silent auction was running with an amazing collection of goods generously donated.
The crowd danced enthusiastically and urged on by the two Fionas’ who compared the evening placed their bids.
A huge thanks to everyone who helped organise the dance and to the Little River community who supported the evening.
A total of $3000 was raised so far for the Foundation. There is a Give-a-Little page “Dancing for Bowel Cancer,” which runs until late December.
